Every WWE ECW Ever - ECW 18 (10/10/2006)

ECW 18 - 10/10/2006

Look at what episode it is.

On the Network, it says in BIG TEXT that this is a TV-MA episode.

The Strip Poker introduction of all the divas is actually one of the most unreal things I have ever seen. I can't believe they are dedicating a whole episode to this! I do remember this though, and because I was an emerging horny 13 year old all I wanted to do was watch it. The first part of this is them literally explaining what they are, and are not, wearing, until finally getting into their first hand. Ashley loses first and dumps em out for the young kids are the country. I would love to see the TV ratings on this episode.

Match #1: CM Punk vs. Rene Dupree

Well, then. Here goes Dupree's winning streak and/or resemblance of a push. I wonder how many more matches he will have after this one.

During the match they are cutting to the Strip Poker game. Someone has to take their shoe off which is, okay, that's tame. It was Kelly Kelly I believe. Punk actually gets a match out Dupree. Trinity then loses her shirt. I can't even focus on this damn match, and Punk is getting a fight for once! Nice of Dupree to get some offense although you knew he wasn't going to win. Dupree gets put into the Anaconda Vice and Punk is victorious. He is still undefeated.

Winner: CM Punk
Match Rating: Step Above a Squash
Weapons: None

Maria loses a turn in strip poker taking off her pantyhose. Candice Michelle takes her skirt off! This is absolutely hilarious. I was laughing out loud watching these segments. This diva I have never seen before takes off her skirt too, shaking her ass to the camera which was, uh, nice. Not gonna lie. Joey Styles her name is Krystal?

Match #2: Kevin Thorn vs. Tommy Dreamer

No mention of this being extreme rules. Ashley then loses her shoes. First her top, now her shoes. That's no bueno, Ashley. This could be around the time she posed for Playboy. Dreamer vs. Thorn is pretty back and forth, a standard match for these two. I wish there was some extreme rules in effect, that's for sure. Candice Michelle loses her top. She's down two items as well now. I wonder how much of it was scripted, and how much of it was planned?

This match actually goes on a good bit, with some good back and forth action. I think this is definitely welcomed compared to some of these other matches. Dreamer gets the upper hand with a few slick moves, and then hits his DDT! He has broken the winning streak for Thorn! I'm pretty upset, to be honest. It's not fair to him to lose that already. Oh well. No one will notice. Extreme Strip Poker is on.

Winner: Tommy Dreamer
Match Rating: Good but Disappointing
Weapons: None

Krystal loses again at Strip Poker. She's hot, I just do not remember her at all. She throws her shoes at Balls Mahoney, who goes to pick them up but guess what? He's got a hard on, so he doesn't want to stand up! That's too funny. So I missed the reason why, but Kelly Kelly is now stripping basically everything. She eventually does take her top off too! She's naked! Looks like Kelly Kelly is our winner, or, loser?

We have a The Marine feature about the premiere. Okay then. There was a lot of filler in this episode, Extreme Strip Poker included.

Match #3: Rob Van Dam, The Sandman & Sabu vs. Big Show, Matt Striker & Test

So this is the main event, and we have not yet got word this is extreme rules. It might have finally ended.

This match starts off pretty standard to start. Nice to see the ECW Originals have a good start for once. They cut Extreme Strip Poker and almost everyone is naked. Kelly Kelly is holding her tits, like, I thought she lost. Apparently not. They mean COMPLETELY naked.

It's becoming pretty apparent there will be no extreme rules match. There might not even be a weapon. I'm concerned. This is a pretty good match, though, for what it's worth. The match ends with a shirtless Sandman winning the match. Wow. No weapons. It might be official.

Winner: The Sandman, Rob Van Dam & Sabu
Match Rating: Good, but Disappointing
Weapons: NONE

The worst part of the show of course is that there were no weapons. Who really cares what happened in the show?
